Just installed my awning today. Now I know why Tough Top does not list the extension measurement of their awnings. Most awnings extend 8 ft and that’s what other manufacturers advertise. The ordered length of 17 ft 2 in was fine. When I rolled out the awning, it was terribly short. I might as well use an umbrella. This awning measures 92 in including the valence. That’s 4 in shy of 8 ft. To the roller tube the measurement is 82 in. These are the measurements before the awning shrinks over time. I am sure Tough Top will not warrant this awning.

I just placed an order online. I see it takes a couple days to manufacture and then it ships UPS. How long does it usually take on shipping? Do you have an option for us to pay for expedited? Thank you for your time.

    Tough Top Awnings replied:
Hi Jason If you need a new roller tube, they will have to find a Dometic dealer to order that, there are also some online places you may be able to order just the roller tube.

You can of course get the fabric from us!
