**The alumaguard will let us know to cut your new fabric to 81'' deep. This is for a Carefree of Colorado Eclipse Patio Electric Awning.

WHAT IS PIGMENT DISPLACEMENT?
Pigment displacement happens sometimes in shipping, it gives the allusion of pin holes but is not. What you are seeing is the clear scrim that the vinyl is then laid over.  What happened was the pigment moved during shipping, giving those allusions on the awning folds. It will correct itself over a couple of weeks, especially if you can get it in the sun.  We usually recommend you install and use this in the sun if possible, keep an eye on it and 99% of the time it will correct itself, but let us know if it does not. *See FAQ page for photos - CLICK HERE*

Tough Top patio RV replacement fabric awnings is made for motorhomes, travel trailers, 5th wheels and RV campers. Our replacement fabrics can replace a variety of RV patio awnings including Carefree of Colorado, LCI and Dometic.

Our patio replacement awning fabric (also called main awnings) are made using a 18oz military grade coated vinyl, are UV/mildew resistant and double stitched with a marine grade thread.

Not at all what I expected

The orginal awning on my Dometic 9100 was solid light blocking. This awning lets light through -- I can see the leaves that have blown down on it. The sand color that looks okay from the top is very yellow under the awning (since it allows light through) and NOT an attractive color. The installer told me it wasn't cut straight or sewn straight since it doesn't roll up correctly. He also questioned no hemming on the side edges. The awning may hold up well over time, but at this point I have serious questions about the fabric and construction.

Sorry the product was not what you were expecting, we appreciate you also emailed us and for transparency sake this was our response.

We do offer color samples you can have mailed to you before ordering. We don’t sew the edges of our awnings because they are vinyl and don’t need to be, they only do this with acrylic material as it will fray otherwise. This also allows it to move better in the wind causing less noise. We’ve been doing this for about 15 years, they are made to last. If it’s not rolling up straight there are a few reasons this could be happening. A bend roller tube will cause that and is the main cause, even a small bend can throw this off. We cut with a t-square to ensure they are cut straight.

It does come with a 5-year warranty, if you have any issues, please let us know.

*We are more than happy to mail color samples before buying.
We do not accept returns as these are custom made products.

Shipping

We offer FREE shipping on all awnings to the lower 48 states only. We currently do not offer free shipping to stand-alone accessories.
If a customer has any “time constraints” please contact us and we will try and work within them.

We ship UPS. Once a shipment is entered into the UPS system, UPS will email customer with their shipping and tracking information.
