Tough Top slide-out topper RV replacement fabric awnings are made for motorhomes, travel trailers, 5th wheels and RV campers. Our replacement fabrics can replace a variety of slide-out RV awnings including Carefree of Colorado, Lippert Solara, and Dometic.

We have a pre-stretched vinyl that is very rigid. It is designed for slide-out toppers. We use this material because slide toppers have a spring in them to allow the fabric to unravel when winds grab it and this spring allows the hardware to not be damaged.

Our slide-out topper replacement awning fabric (also called bump outs) are made using a 18oz military grade coated vinyl, are UV/mildew resistant and double stitched with a marine grade thread.

I’m very happy with the replacement slide topper for my RV’s super slide

I’m very happy with the replacement slide topper for my RV’s super slide. The material seems to be very good quality, and the installation video was excellent—clear, detailed, and easy to follow.

The installation itself was pretty straightforward. The only real challenge was pulling the new canopy through about 30 feet of channel, but once we got through that part, everything went smoothly.

Delivery took a little longer than expected, but when I called to check on the order, they explained they had experienced some manufacturing delays. The customer service was very helpful, and the topper shipped shortly afterward.

Overall, I’m very happy with the product and the experience. I have two other slide toppers that need replacing, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again—although I think I’ll wait for some cooler Texas weather before tackling those!

2018 Lance 1985 Slide Topper

I have a 2018 Lance 1985 travel trailer. Ordered new Slide Topper fabric from Tough Top Awnings. Their website is very informative, provided step by step instructions to measure for a correct fit. I received my new topper fabric within a week of my order. The fabric is very thick, double stitched, much nicer than OEM. Easy to install, fit perfectly! If you need new fabric for your slide toppers and awnings, do yourself a favor and order from Tough Top Awnings...You won't be disappointed!

This is our 3rd purchase from TTA

This is our 3rd purchase from TTA. We have been very pleased with each awning fabric replacement we've ordered. They provide good measurement guidelines and have been very responsive to questions along the way. We have 2 more older slide covers, and if/when they need to be replaced, we'll definitely come back to TTA.

If we make an error we fix it.
If you make an error we will work with you to reconcile the issue.
*This does not pertain to customer choosing a wrong color.
*We are more than happy to mail color samples before buying.
We do not accept returns as these are custom made products.

Shipping

We offer FREE shipping on all awnings to the lower 48 states only. We currently do not offer free shipping to stand-alone accessories.
If a customer has any “time constraints” please contact us and we will try and work within them.

We ship UPS. Once a shipment is entered into the UPS system, UPS will email customer with their shipping and tracking information.
